A-Rod , now has hit his 30th homerun for the season. A-Rod , joins only Roger Maris, as the only two Yankees, to hit 30 or more homeruns before the All Start brake. Roger had 33 homeruns in 1961, by the All Star Brake. At the end of the season Maris, had 61 homeruns for that season.
Now is A - Rod, on pace to hit 60 homeruns this season. If history does repeat it self. Then the answer is yes. A-Rods, 30th homerun this season, was his 494 career homerun. A-Rod will be the youngest slugger to enter the 500 club. A-Rod will join Barry Bonds, Ken Griffery Jr, Sammy Sosa, Babe Ruth, and Hank Aaron, with Willie Mayes.
Now those men I just named, went on to the next leval the 600 club and the then the best club the 700 club, with Ruth, Aaron, and Bonds. There are more members in the 500 club. I just named the top sluggers in class.
The reason why only named such sluggers as Ruth, and Bonds. I feel that A-Rod is the only homerun hitter out there has a real shoot, to pass the New King in career homeruns" Barry Bonds".
That is right. when breaks Aaron, 755 record, I feel that, A-Rod will pass Bonds. If Bonds can reach 800 career homeruns, I feel that A-Rod can make it it to 801.
That is right , and I am one of the biggest Barry Bonds fan, that is out there.
If A-Rod can hit 60 homeruns this season. That would give A-Rod, 526 career homeruns.
Think about it. 526, then if A-Rod can hit, 40 homeruns per season ,for the next ten seasons.
That would give A-Rod another 400 homeruns. That would make 926 career homeruns.
That is not Babe Ruth like or Aaron, or even the King of swing right now Barry Bonds, that is Josh Gibson , like. Gibson hit between 800 to 908 career homeruns. Gibson, was in the Negro League, played with the like of Jackie Robinson.
Well only time will tell if A -Rod can break the new record.
Nuff Said
