The greatest Homerun sluggers, went head to head

The greatest Homerun sluggers, went head to headtoday on July 02 2007.
Barry Bonds, and Ken Griffey Jr. Bonds and Jr, are good friends. The two sluggers have thing in comman that stand above the great homeruns that both men have hit. Combined Bonds and JR, has hit almost 1500 career homerun. That is increidtable, however playing on the same teams that there fathers played for is pressure. Having to deal hey Jr, did your dady get you the team. Or with Barryy Bonds, hey aren't you Bobby Bonds kid, and isn't Willie Mayes your Godfather? Jr even played a few season with his dad at Seattle.

Well the tonight both men were at bat, the battle for homeruns begun, as Barry Bonds, hits a bomb out of left field. Which brings Barry to 751 career homeruns. Only four left to tie Aaron at 755, and six more will brake the record. After hit the homerun in the second inning, the Reds walked Barry nine times.
Now Ken Griffey Jr, almost hit a homerun, however, Jr, did not get a good solid hit. So it came short. Yet, seeing Jr and Bonds, in the game was nice to see. Before the All star game.
For Both sluggers are Hall of Famers, and if Griffey would stayed healthy. It would be a race to 755. Remember fans Griffey was hurt for about 4 seasons. Griffey would given his friend Bonds,
a race that only comes once in a life time. A race that could have been to 755.
